I'm currently growing this lovely plant and came across this enlightening information a forum which I found to be quite interesting! Seeeee! Pays to research the strains you're growing!
Skywalker from Dutch Passion is not the Skywalker from LA.Some more info here Skywalker Kush
Skywalker from LA was originally the true OG Kush strain that came here about 20 years ago from Florida. Someone crossed it with a solid Indica to achieve more of a couch lock feeling so they could get more money for it and to allow growth indoors as Sativas grow really tall. Indica is shorter and bushier, making it easier to grow indoors in LA. The only collective that had this strain was the old Sunset collective in West Hollywood. The grower of this strain was Luke Skywalker, so the owner of the collective decided to change the name to Skywalker. a couple of years went by and everyone was buzzing over the hottest flower in LA, Skywalker. So people started doing research on how to find it and came across Dutch Passion's version in the Netherlands. So they start ordering these seeds, growing them and circulating it around LA as "Skywalker". So there is some major confusion as to what is what anymore. I've been smoking/vaping this strain exclusively for the last 4 years and have no interest in any others. It is literally the perfect medication for day, night, busy or relaxing, in my opinion. Luke is almost done writing the story, we will be featuring it very soon. We will also be revealing the gas chromotography report on this flower as well. Hope this helps until we release the 10 page article. Source: 420 Magazine Forum- Skywalker OG
RPSF6 Skywalker Kush
This mostly indica hybrid marijuana strain is the result of crossing Skywalker and OG kush cannabis strains. The result is a strong and sturdy weed plant that can be grown outdoor and indoor as well as in other growing systems like greenhouse. Its preferred growing medium is soil just like most pot plants but it can also thrive in other growing mediums. Beginners who have basic knowledge of marijuana cultivation can handle this weed plant easily. Flowering time for Skywalker Kush can be expected when it reaches 63 days on the average counted from the time it enters the vegetation stage. It will grow magnificent big buds entirely covered with frosted looking THC crystals and sticky resin with red to orange hairs accentuating it. Yield is pretty high for this weed plant and the grower can expect to harvest as much as 600 grams/m2 of potent cannabis buds. The effect when smoked is a strong stoned feel with an almost couchlock effect.
I believe mine is the Sativa dominant variety. A very nice looking plant. Mine is a little over 3 feet tall & I will put her in flower in 2 weeks or less... I want to get a couple more clones. I wanted to keep her as a "Mother", but c'est la vie!
Update: I read this, now I know I have the sativa cos" she tall, very tall!
She will lift your lights off the chains if your not careful. 12 inch start into a 40 inch finished plant. i like to see her go 65 days at least because when you give it the time and a good flush it has such an acrid smell it makes your eyes burn-before you smoke it. your eyes are not open enough to burn after you smoke it.From https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=145108
its like all the ogs in that it looks regular weight on the vine but performs a magic trick on the scale.
