Cooling Off With Cannabis Infused Drinks!!

Celebrate the summer season with cool refreshing cannabis infused drinks!
How cool would it be to have a party with fellow MMJ Patients and whip up a batch or 2 or 3 of these delicious beverages!?

Cannabis Simple Syrup

1/2 oz. cannabis buds
1 cup of sugar, organic is best!
1 cup of water

In a saucepan, saute' the buds in sugar and water over medium heat for 20 minutes. Strain the buds, using some cheesecloth (food grade). Pour the remaining syrup (it will be green of course!) into a glass container. Let it cool and refrigerate. Pour over fruit or fruit salad and let the syrup fully absorb.

Here's a recipe to try using the infused syrup.

Watermelon Sunset
1 watermelon, halved and seeded
1/4 cup of peferably fresh squeezed orange juice
1/4 cup of infused syrup
1 teaspoon of fresh squeezed lime juice

In a blender add the melon, syrup, o.j. and lime juice. Blend until smooth and pour in a frosty glass (put glass in freezer).

Garnish with watermelon mini- wedge, fresh lime, a strawberry & a cute umbrella!

INFUSED LIQUOR!
Liquor of your choice. I think it's better to use a liqor that can be used in a variety of drinks vs. using a liquor that doesn't mix well with other like Cinnamon Schnapps (although it probably would be very good)
Add the cannabis to a glass quart jar and fill with your choice of liquor. Place jar in a cool, dry place, shaking everyday. Do this for about 4 weeks. Strain well and keep jar in a cool, dry place.

If my dirty bong water looked like this I'd be happy!

The drink recipe possibilities are immense. I'm going to make some Strawberry Daiquiri's with some infused Coconut Rum.... YUM!
These would be great for a summer party at the beach, backyard or a bonfire!
